Jonathan Porter
Senior Pastor
Jonathan “Jono” Porter came to GBC in July 1994 after beginning his ministry in April 1987. He earned his Master of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in 1994, following his bachelor’s degree from West Georgia College. Jono is an avid outdoorsman who creates faith-based videos for Realtree Outdoors. He is also the author of Beyond the Blind, written especially for men. He and his wife, Gayle, have two children, Scott and Abby, and two beautiful grandchildren.
